Working with the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. is an important part of my platform. I believe that talking to young girls about developing healthy relationships with themselves and others, along with how to set goals and strive towards reaching them, is very important for today's young women. Since Girl Scouts was such an important part of my life, this is what led me to start my own Girl Scout troop in Lynchburg.
